BROCKWEIR VILLAGE
SHOP & CAFE

The Brockweir Village Shop and Cafe has been serving our local community and visitors in this beautiful part of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, since 2004.

 

The shop suffered an accidental roof fire in June 2023 which caused substantial damage. While a part of the building is still under structural repair, the remaining two thirds has been recovered and renovated and has now reopened as an interim shop and café  The full building should be ready at some point later this year.

 

The community are delighted to welcome everybody back!

 

Staffed by volunteers with a full time general manager and café manager, this successful operation has enabled us to bring the community together, provide a much needed local shop and meeting place and provide employment for local people, as well as weekend work opportunities for young people.

 

The shop provides a variety of every day essentials, fresh and frozen foods and we are licensed to sell alcohol and have a range of dry and liquid self serve zero waste dispensers.

 

Our popular Café provides a social hub for local people as well as visitors. The Café has indoor and outdoor seating with lovely views down the valley, and dogs are welcome.
