BROCKWEIR VILLAGE
SHOP & CAFE
The Village Shop & Café is fully open!
The Brockweir Village Shop and Cafe has been serving our local community and
visitors in this beautiful part of the Wye Valley near Tintern and the Forest of Dean
since 2004.
We are so delighted to welcome all our customers to the newly reinstated shop and
cafe after the 18 month period of disruption following the fire which caused serious
damage to the building in 2023.
We are a not for profit, community owned and run business, prioritising local
suppliers with a focus on sustainability. We are staffed by volunteers with a full time
general manager and a cafe manager.
The shop stocks a wide variety of both essential and speciality foods and household
goods and local produce. We also sell a wide variety of local information, maps and
guides, cards and gifts.
The cafe provides a congenial hub and community meeting point with both an inside
and outside seating area which overlook the Wye valley and adjacent children’s play
area. We are a destination of choice for both locals and visitors alike and a well
situated stopping off point for cyclists and ramblers. Dogs are welcome.
Parking provides level access to the premises.
Just a quick update for anyone planning a visit to Brockweir Village Shop & Café 😊
The current A466 road closure is between Bigsweir and Redbrook, so it does not affect travel from Chepstow to Brockweir — you can still reach us as normal from the Chepstow direction.
If you’re travelling from Monmouth, there is a signed diversion route in place, so please allow a little extra time for your journey.
We’re open as usual and look forward to seeing you! ☕🥐🛍️
